I have a 3-year-old German Shepherd named Gunther.

When I adopted him about 6 months ago, he had an acute itching problem caused by "hot spots". He continually scratched himself and had chewed himself raw on his back and on his feet. His lips were cracked and dry, and his ears were also a source of discomfort to him. He was worried and had difficulty concentrating.

"Flora" is an eight year old West Highland terrier who has suffered very badly from dermatitis from about two years old.
